The E-Media Center is interested in electronic art, video art, net art, interactive multimedia, interactive installations, electronic music, performance and multimedia, urban environment and similar.

Incorporated in 1994, the E-Media Centre (EMC) focuses on research, instruction and the promotion of digital culture and art.
The centre is part of Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn and its Master's program in Interactive Multimedia has been available since the 1999/2000 academic year. The IMM MA prepares students to become professionals in wide area of digital media, either being artist, researchers or media professionals.
Additionally, the centre organizes a number of special workshops and courses in the field of digital arts providing essential practical skills for students, teachers, artists, as well as the public at large.
The EMC participates in various joint projects, research, residencies and cooperation networks.
The E-Media Centre is a member of NICE and NIFCA, and participates in several important collaborations with thealit, an residency program of mapXXL and media MA program Tallinn Media Cluster, to mention just a few.
