Concern: Invitation for virtual Meeting July 15th by CUseeMe: NGOs and
Internet - worldwide =


Colloquium on =84EnZuNet" a concept by German NGOs for the Use of
Telecommunication as a means of global political collaboration Tuesday
15th of July 97.

On Tuesday 15th of July 97 an assembly of more than 50 students,
journalists, broadcasters and members of NGOs will discuss the potential
of modern telecommunication networks (Internet). The presentation of
=84EnZuNet" a future virtual platform for Germany=92s NGOs and other
entities involved in the process of global economic and political
collaboration will open an event that invites participants from the
various NGOs of Asia, Africa and South America to share their
experience, expertise and visions on the use of Internet as a means of
their work.

EnZuNet, as promoted by the Third World Journalist Network (DWJN), will
take place at the Deutsche Welle Funkhaus in Cologne, Germany in
conjunction with the initiative =84WAIN" (West African Internet Initiativ=
e
and is supported by GMD, St.Augustin (German National Research Center
for Information Technology) and the Deutsche Welle Cologne.

A globally accessible CUseeMe-Reflector provides the platform for the
virtual meeting of interested NGOs and Network professionals. We like to
learn about the state of art in networking and future outlook to enhance
the work of NGOs all over the world. =


Participate in the discussion at the EnZuNet- reflector on
Tuesday 15th from 11 a.m. till 01 p.m. MET(Mean European Time)
Share Your experience in networking of NGOs in Your country.
Tell as about Your goals and problems in expanding necessary network
structures for the future.
