Certainly not a few of those danceable codes :)
The items you refer to are known as Roland's x0x boxes:
SH-101 monophonic synthesizer
MC-202 microcomposer
TB-303 Bassline
***there is no 404, as 4, "shi," in japanese, means death, and is regarded
much the same way as americans regard "13."
TR-505 rhythm composer
TR-606 Drumatix
TR-707 Rhythm Composer
TR-808 Rhythm Composer
TR-909 Rhythm Composer.

The 101,202, and 303 (NOT, and NEVER the MC-303, which is regarded as a
piece of junk by most musicians) are responsible for at least one synth
line in almost every "techno" song out there today. They are all similar
in sound, but the tb-303 is the most in-demand...it has a nearly
unreplicatable characteristic squeal. The 505 is a poor attempt at a drum
machine, and is not regarded as valuable to any techno musician. The 606,
the TB-303's partner and TR-808's little brother, has the same hi-hat,
snare, and cymbal as its big brother, but not the ominous BAWOOOOM kick
used in a lot of eurotech, trip hop, and especially hiphop. As for the
707, it isn't a big seller, generally fetching about $125-175 on the open
market. The 909, of course, is the machine behind most dance music today,
with the speaker-blowing punch kick, crispy hats, etc.

anyway, that's my $0.02. I'm not so sure you can call them as having
"hummable codes," as mentioned before. They are either drum machines or
synthesizers, and can produce any melody or rhythm the musician wishes.
