Ever thought about joining the fight against the crumbling digestive path, the unstable decomposition of the unpredictably fragile world wide web? You would be amazed how much already got lost! Mirror is a package written in Perl that uses the ftp protocol to duplicate a directory hierarchy between the machine it is run on and a remote host. But mirror is more than just boring techy stuff. Mirror comes with a social plug-in. Become a member of the lively mirror group! If you are interested in developing mirror (not just getting the latest releases but actually doing work) there is a mailing list mirror-people@doc.ic.ac.uk.
